Manuchekhr Firdavsiyevich Safarov (, ), born 31 May 2001) is a Tajikistani professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Uzbekistan Super League club Neftchi Fergana. Club career Khujand On 12 July 2019, Safarov signed for FK Khujand on loan from Futsal club Sipar Khujand. Lokomotiv Pamir On 1 August 2020, Safarov left Khujand to sign for Lokomotiv-Pamir. Istiklol On 29 March 2021, Safarov signed for FC Istiklol. Persepolis On 7 November 2021, Safarov left Istiklol with Vahdat Hanonov to sign for Iranian club Persepolis, on a contract until 30 June 2024. Persepolis F
Persepolis (; ; ) was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (). It is situated in the plains of Marvdasht, encircled by the southern Zagros mountains, Fars province of Iran. It is one of the key Iranian cultural heritage sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BC. The city, acting as a major center for the empire, housed a palace complex and citadel designed to serve as the focal point for governance and ceremonial activities. It exemplifies the Achaemenid architecture, Achaemenid style of architecture. The complex was taken by the army of Alexander the Great in 330 BC, and soon after, its wooden parts were completely destroyed by fire, likely deliberately. The Iranian Super Cup (Persian language, Persian: سوپر جام ایران, ''Super Jam-e 'Iran'') is an Iranian association football trophy awarded to the winner of a match between the Persian Gulf Pro League's season champion and the winner of the Hazfi Cup. It is similar to numerous other Super Cup tournaments held in other countries. The Persian Gulf Pro League (, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Premier League (, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is a professional association football league in Iran and the highest level of the Iranian football league system. 2021 FC Istiklol Season
The FC Istiklol 2021 season was Istiklol's thirteenth Tajik League season, of which they are defending Tajik League Champions, whilst they also participated in the Tajik Cup, Tajik Supercup and AFC Champions League.
