Mantana Keartiwongs is known by the original name Mantana Morakul ( th, มัณฑนา โมรากุล, ; born March 30, 1923) was the first female singer in The Public Relations Department band, Luk Krung singer and the Early Era singer of The Suntaraporn Band. Mantana also is the National artist of 2009 in Performing arts (Thai music – singing). Sa Pathum Palace ( th, วังสระปทุม, ) is a royal residence in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, Thailand. It has been a residence of the Thai Royal Family, especially the House of Mahidol, since the 19th century, and is the official residence of Princess Sirindhorn. History King Chulalongkorn intended to give his son, Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, a plot of land on Pathumwan Road for the building of a private residence. As the prince was still a student abroad the plan was not realised until the reign of King Vajiravudh, when land was granted to the prince in 1914. Queen Savang Vadhana the prince's mother moved out of the Grand Palace and built a residence on the land. Queen Sirikit ( th, สิริกิติ์; ; ); born '' Mom Rajawongse'' Sirikit Kitiyakara ( th, สิริกิติ์ กิติยากร; ; 12 August 1932) is the queen mother of Thailand. She was Queen of Thailand as the wife of Bhumibol Adulyadej (or King Rama IX) and is the mother of the current King Vajiralongkorn (or King Rama X). Compositions By Bhumibol Adulyadej
Bhumibol Adulyadej (1927-2016), the late King of Thailand, had written more than 49 songs. His music is known in Thai as "Phleng Phra Ratcha Niphon" ( th, เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์; lit. "Royal Composition"). He was influenced by jazz, but also wrote music in other genre such as waltz, march, and classical music. In 1952, King Bhumibol Adulyadej composed the "Royal Marines March" ( th, มาร์ชราชนาวิกโยธิน), the official march of the Royal Thai Marine Corps. It was the 30th composition by the king. It was first performed on 7 June 1959, during the visit of the American 7th Fleet to Thailand. The late king also authored English lyrics to five of his songs – "Echo", "Still on My Mind", "Old-Fashioned Melody", "No Moon" and "Dream Island". Dusit Palace ( th, พระราชวังดุสิต, RTGS: ''Phra Ratcha Wang Dusit'') is a compound of royal residences in Bangkok, Thailand. Constructed over a large area north of Rattanakosin Island between 1897 and 1901 by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). The Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall or the Ambara Villa ( th, พระที่นั่งอัมพรสถาน: ''Phra Thinang Amphorn Sathan'') is a royal mansion situated inside Bangkok's Dusit Palace. It served as the primary residence of the former King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and former Queen Sirikit of Thailand, and was the birthplace of King Vajiralongkorn. Prince Aditya Dibabha ( th, อาทิตย์ทิพอาภา; ; ; 27 July 1900 – 19 May 1946) was a member of the Thai Royal Family and a Siamese political figure. He served as Chairman of the Regency Council between the years 1935 and 1944, as King Ananda Mahidol was still a minor.
