Mansour Hobeika
Mansour Hobeika (December 20, 1941, in Hadath Baalbek, Beqaa Governorate, Lebanon – October 28, 2014, in Paris, France) was a Maronite bishop of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Zahleh in Lebanon. Life Mansour Hobeika studied philosophy and theology at Saint Joseph University in Beirut from 1962 to 1968. He holds degrees in literature, philosophy, theology and psychology. Ordained to the priesthood on June 9, 1968, he studied canon law at the Instituto per l'Oriente Carlo Alfonso Nallino in Rome and in the Angelicum, obtained his doctorate in Oriental Canon law in Rome. He taught at the Université La Sagesse, graduating himself from a course in Islamic studies and Arabic language. In addition to Arabic, he also spoke French, Italian, German and English. Chucrallah Boutros Harb (May 5, 1923 – December 31, 2019) was a Lebanese Hierarch of Maronite Church and an eparch of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Baalbek and Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Jounieh. Biography Harb was born in Tannourine, Lebanon and was ordained a priest on June 19, 1949. He was appointed bishop to the Eparchy of Baalbek-Deir El-Ahmar on March 15, 1967 by Pope Paul VI and ordained bishop on May 14, 1967 by Maronite Patriarch of Antioch, Paul Peter Meouchi. Roland Aboujaoudé (7 September 1930 – 2 May 2019) was a Lebanese Catholic Maronite eparch of the Maronite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch. Life Roland Aboujaoudé was born on 7 September 1930 in Jal-Edib, Lebanon. He was ordained priest on 25 April 1959. On 12 July 1975, Aboujaoudé was appointed patriarchal vicar of Antioch and titular bishop of Arca in Phoenicia dei Maroniti. List Of Maronite Patriarchs
This is a list of the Maronite patriarchs of Antioch and all the East, the primate of the Maronite Church, one of the Eastern Catholic Churches. Starting with Paul Peter Massad in 1854, after becoming patriarch of the Maronite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch, they assume the name "Peter" (Boutros in Arabic, بطرس ), after the traditional first Bishop of Antioch, St. Peter, who was also the head of the Apostles.
