Welsh ( or ) is a Celtic language of the Brittonic subgroup that is native to the Welsh people. Manon Charette (March 14, 1955 in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada – January 1, 2006 in Richmond, British Columbia) was a Canadian handball player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics. Manon Nummerdor-Flier (born 8 February 1984 in Nieuwleusen, Overijssel) is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands, who plays as an opposite. Career Flier was named Most Valuable Player at the 2007 FIVB World Grand Prix in Ningbo, PR China, where the Dutch national team won the gold medal. Flier lost the bronze medal at the 2010–11 CEV Champions League after her team Scavolini Pesaro was defeated 3–1 by the Turkish Fenerbahçe Acıbadem. She was individually awarded "Best Spiker". Gabriëlla Maria "Manon" Melis (; born 31 August 1986) is a Dutch football coach and former player who is a manager of women's football development at Feyenoord. As a professional player she played as a forward. She spent most of her professional career playing in the Swedish league Damallsvenskan, which she won three times with her club LdB FC Malmö, in 2010, 2011, and 2013. Melis also won the Swedish Supercup with Malmö in 2011, and was briefly with the Swedish teams Linköping and Göteborg. She was the Damallsvenskan top scorer three times, in 2008, 2010, and 2011. Manon Lloyd (born 5 November 1996) is a Welsh Global Cycling Network YouTube presenter. Lloyd is a former road and track cyclist and rode professionally for UCI Women's Team in 2018 and 2019. Manon Johnes (born 17 December 2000) is a Welsh Rugby Union professional player who plays back row for the Wales women's national rugby union team and Bristol Bears. She made her debut for the Wales national squad in 2018, and represented them at the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship.
