Manokamna Mandir ( Maithili language, Maithili: मनोकामना मंदिर ) is an ancient Hinduism, Hindu Hindu temple, temple located at Kamtaul village of Harlakhi Assembly constituency, Harlakhi block in Madhubani district of Mithila (region), Mithila region in Bihar, India. According to legend, it is said that the temple existed from Treta Yuga. It is associated with Ramayana. Etymology ''Manokamna'' is an Indian word meaning devotional wishes. It is believed that a Faith, devotee with good wishes comes here for worship to be fruitful. The literal meaning of ''Manokamna Mandir'' is a Hindu temple, temple where wishes become fruitful. Description According to ''Baba Rambhushan Das Nirmohi'', Hindu deities, Goddess Sita came worshipping to Phulhar ''Girija Devi'' for 12 years continuously. Then goddess ''Girija Devi'' blessed Sita and told to her worshipping ''Manokamna Mandir'' for the fruitful of her wishes. The place is also known as ''Manokamna Sthan''. ...

Phulhar
Phulhar is an ancient historical site in Madhubani district, Madhubani district of Mithila region of Bihar, India. It is the place where Lord Rama and Goddess Sita first time met. It was a flower garden of King Janaka of Mithila. A very famous temple of Goddess Bhagwati known as Girija Sthan is situated here. This place is mentioned in many Hindu texts of the ancient India. This place has been recognised by the Government of Bihar in 2020 as tourist centre for Hindu pilgrims. This place is related to Lord Rama. It has been identified as one of locations in the Ramayana circuit. The chief minister Nitish Kumar has announced to develop it as a Tourism in Mithila, tourist destination during his ''Pragati Yatra'' on 12 January 2025 in the region of the Madhubani district. The government has sanctioned 31 crore 13 lakh and 55 thousand rupees for the development.
