Manoj Kumar Mukherjee
Manoj Kumar Mukherjee (1 December 1933 – 17 April 2021) was an Indian jurist. He served as the Chief Justices of the Bombay High Court and Allahabad High Court and former judge of the Supreme Court of India. He was the head of Mukherjee Commission. Career Mukherjee was born in 1933 in British India. He did his schooling in East Indian Railway School in Asansol. He passed B.Sc. and LL.B thereafter started his lawyer career in Asansol Court, in the state of West Bengal in 1956. He worked in the Calcutta High Court as a criminal law expert since December 1962 and in 1977 he was appointed a Judge of this Court. He was transferred to the Allahabad High Court on 12 November 1991 as the Chief Justice. In January 1993 Mukherjee became the Chief Justice Bombay High Court. He was also appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court in 1993. Death Of Subhas Chandra Bose
Indian nationalist leader Subhas Chandra Bose died on 18 August 1945 from third-degree burns sustained after the bomber in which he was being transported as a guest of Lieutenant General Tsunamasa Shidei of the Imperial Japanese Kwantung Army crashed upon take off from the airport in Taihoku, Japanese-occupied Formosa, now Taipei, Taiwan. The chief pilot, copilot, and General Shidei were instantly killed. Bose, who had become soaked in gasoline before exiting the burning bomber, was transported to the Nanmon Military Hospital south of Taihoku, where his extensive upper-body burns were treated for six hours by the chief-surgeon Dr Taneyoshi Yoshimi, two other doctors Dr Truruta and Dr Ishii, and half a dozen technical staff and nurses. Chief Justice Of India
The chief justice of India ( IAST: ) is the chief judge of the Supreme Court of India as well as the highest-ranking officer of the Indian Judiciary. The Constitution of India grants power to the president of India to appoint, in consultation with the outgoing chief justice, the next chief justice, who will serve until they reach the age of sixty-five or are removed by impeachment. As per convention, the name suggested by the incumbent chief justice is almost always the next senior most judge in the Supreme Court. However this convention has been broken twice. Bombay High Court
The High Court of Bombay is the high court of the states of Maharashtra and Goa in India, and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is seated primarily at Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), and is one of the oldest high courts in India. The High Court has regional branches at Nagpur and Aurangabad in Maharashtra and Panaji, the capital of Goa.
