Manoa Dobui is a former Fijian politician, who won the Samabula Tamavua Open Constituency in the House of Representatives for the '' Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua'' (SDL) in the parliamentary election of 2001. He hails from Kabara in Lau In the previous election of 1999, he unsuccessfully contested the Lautoka City Open Constituency for the Christian Democratic Alliance (VLV). The SDL decided not to renominate Dobui for the general election scheduled for 6–13 May 2006. The Cabinet of Fiji is a Government body of Ministers appointed by the Prime Minister of Fiji and responsible to the Parliament of Fiji. The Cabinet's constitutional basis is sections 90 to 96 of the 2013 Constitution of Fiji. Cabinet consists of the Prime Minister as chair and a number of Ministers. The Fiji Labour Party (FLP; fj, Ilawalawa Cakacaka ni Viti), also known as Fiji Labour, is a political party in Fiji. Samabula Tamavua (Open Constituency, Fiji)
Samabula Tamavua Open is a former electoral division of Fiji, one of 25 open constituencies that were elected by universal suffrage (the remaining 46 seats, called communal constituencies, were allocated by ethnicity).
