Mannan Hira
Mannan Hira (1956 – 23 December 2020) was a Bangladeshi dramatist and filmmaker. He was the recipient of 2006 Bangla Academy Literary Award in the drama category. Career Hira was a member of Aranyak Natyadal and involved in street theatre movement. He was the president of Bangladesh Path Natok Parishad. He had written around 15 theater plays including ''Laal Jamin'', ''Bhager Manush'', ''Moyur Singhasan'' and ''Sada-Kalo''. ''Murkha Loker Murkha Kotha'' is one of his street plays. Sirajganj
Sirajganj ( bn, সিরাজগঞ্জ) is a city in north-western Bangladesh on the right bank of the Jamuna River. It is the administrative headquarters of Sirajganj District, and with a population of 167,200 is the fourteenth most populous city in the country. It is about north west of the capital, Dhaka. It is the city where Pakistani Brig. Jehanzeb Arbab looted the bank back in 1971 during Bangladesh liberation war. It was once a principal centre of the jute trade. History During British rule, Sirajganj was a town in the Pabna District of Eastern Bengal and Assam. East Pakistan was a Pakistani province established in 1955 by the One Unit Scheme, One Unit Policy, renaming the province as such from East Bengal, which, in modern times, is split between India and Bangladesh. Rajshahi College ( bn, রাজশাহী কলেজ ''Rajshahi Kôlej'') is the third oldest institution of higher education in Bangladesh. Established in 1873 in Rajshahi city, it is the third oldest college in Bangladesh after Dhaka College and Chittagong College. In 1895, Rajshahi College was the first institution in the territories now comprising Bangladesh to award a graduate (master's) degree.
