''Manjal Veiyil'' () is a 2009 Indian Tamil language romance film directed by Vaseegaran, starring Prasanna, Sandhya, R. K., and Bala. The music was composed by Bharadwaj, and the film was released on 12 June 2009. Plot The film deals with two best friends, Gayathri and Vijay. The conflict arises when in Gayathri's sister Savitri's wedding, the groom gets attracted towards Gayathri and vows to marry her instead of Savitri. Prasanna (actor)
Prasanna Venkatesan, often credited mononymously as Prasanna, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in the Tamil cinema and alongside appeared in a few Telugu language, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. He made his first success in ''Five Star (film), Five Star'' in 2002, which was produced by Mani Ratnam. Some of his other notable films are ''Azhagiya Theeye'' (2004), ''Kasthuri Maan'' (2005), ''Kanda Naal Mudhal'' (2005), ''Cheena Thaana 001'' (2007) and ''Anjathe'' (2008). Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs.
