Provincial Road 366 (PR 366) is a provincial road in the Canadian province of Manitoba. Route description Provincial Road 366 starts in the Swan River Valley region of Manitoba, serving Bowsman and Minitonas, crosses the Duck Mountains, and then goes through west-central Manitoba from Grandview to Inglis. PR 366 serves as the main north-south route through Duck Mountain Provincial Park. It is mainly a gravel route, but there are short paved sections in Bowsman and Inglis, and longer paved stretches leading up to the Duck Mountains from both Minitonas and Grandview. Bowsman, Manitoba
Bowsman is an unincorporated urban community in the Municipality of Minitonas – Bowsman, Manitoba, Canada. The community is 16 kilometres north of the Town of Swan River. Bowsman was originally incorporated as a village in 1949, but lost that status upon its amalgamation with the Rural Municipality of Minitonas on 1 January 2015. The economy is supported by agriculture and logging. Currently the community offers a hotel with restaurant, lounge, and bar, K–8 school, hockey arena, curling rink, library, post office. History Bowsman was originally incorporated as a village in 1949. J.B. Tyrell, a surveyor, came up with the name "Bowsman" after the first man out of the bow of the boat who touched the land. Craigsford, Manitoba

The district's center is located at the junction of PR 366 and PR 587. There is no townsite, and no real boundaries to the district. However, its name appears on maps and road signs. PR 366 is sometimes called Craigsford Road. Archaeological findings There are six archaeological dig sites in Craigsford. Pottery dating from 1350 to 1500 AD has been found in the area. It is a unique type of pottery associated with a fishing station on the Swan River. It has not yet been determined what type of people used this station. Manitoba Provincial Road 268
Provincial Road 268 (PR 268), known locally as the Lenswood Highway, is a provincial road in the Canadian province of Manitoba. Route description Provincial Road 268 starts east of the town of Minitonas, and goes from Highway 10 to the village of Birch River. This allows a traveller to bypass the town of Swan River completely. The highway is a faster route to Birch River than if one were to continue down Highway 10 to Swan River before turning north towards the village. The highway has four bridges, over the Sinclair River, Swan River, Woody River, and Birch River. The Swan River bridge is the northernmost crossing of the Swan River. The bridge was replaced in October 2012 because the old one was too narrow. Next to the Swan River is the small community of Lenswood, for which the highway is named. Duck Mountain Provincial Park (Manitoba)
Duck Mountain Provincial Park is a 1,424 square kilometre provincial park in western Manitoba. The park is located within the larger and similarly named Duck Mountain Provincial Forest. Duck Mountain Provincial Park was designated a provincial park by the Government of Manitoba in 1961. and is considered to be a Class II protected area under the IUCN protected area management categories. The park is unincorporated, not lying within the borders of any of Manitoba's rural municipalities. The Duck Mountains are a rise of forested (formerly glaciated) land between the Saskatchewan prairie to the west and the Manitoba lowlands to the east. Minitonas is an unincorporated urban community in the Municipality of Minitonas – Bowsman, Manitoba, Canada. It is surrounded by the Swan Valley and is located 15 km east of the Town of Swan River. The community is close to the Duck Mountain Provincial Park. Founded in 1898, it was categorized as a town from 1996 until 1 January 2015, when it was amalgamated with the Rural Municipality of Minitonas and Village of Bowsman. According to the 2011 census, Minitonas had a population of 522. History The Cowan Trail was blazed from Dauphin to Minitonas in 1897, and still exists today. The Swan River Valley (also known as Swan Valley) is a valley between the Manitoba Escarpment in the Parkland Region of Manitoba, Canada. It is located between the Porcupine Hills to the northwest and Duck Mountains to the south, as well as Thunderhill to the west and Lake Winnipegosis to the east. It includes the town of Swan River, and the Minitonas-Bowsman, Swan Valley West, and Mountain rural municipalities.
