In a road network, a concurrency is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. The practice is often economically and practically advantageous when multiple routes must pass between a single mountain crossing or over a bridge, or through a major city, and can be accommodated by a single right-of-way. Lake Winnipeg () is a very large, relatively shallow lake in North America, in the Canadian province of Manitoba. Its southern end is about north of the city of Winnipeg. Provincial Trunk Highway 9 (PTH 9) is a provincial primary highway located in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It runs from Winnipeg (where it meets with Route 52) north to Gimli. The highway is known as Main Street between Winnipeg and Selkirk, as this is the name of the road within both of those cities, and has a suburban character as a 4-lane, mostly undivided highway with numerous residences and businesses. At Selkirk, the highway turns off to bypass the city and becomes more of a rural highway. The bypass around Selkirk is known as the "Selkirk By-Pass". Provincial Trunk Highway 8 (PTH 8) is a provincial primary highway located in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It runs from the north limit of the City of Winnipeg, where it meets with Route 180 (McPhillips Street), north to Hecla-Grindstone Provincial Park. The highway between Winnipeg and PR 230 is known as McPhillips Street. At PR 230, McPhillips Street becomes McPhillips Road and continues along PR 230 to PTH 9 (Selkirk Bypass). Gimli Motorsports Park
Gimli Motorsports Park is a multi-track motorsports facility located in Gimli, Manitoba, Canada. The 95-hectare facility features a 1/4-mile dragstrip, a 1.3-mile road racing course, a one-kilometre karting track and a two-kilometre motocross track. The park hosts events for motorsports groups including the Winnipeg Sports Car Club, Drag Racing Association of Manitoba, Manitoba Roadracing Association (Superbikes), and the Manitoba Karting Association. Dennis Lake (Manitoba)
Dennis M. Lake (born October 5, 1937 in Rigby, Idaho) was a Republican Idaho State Representative representing District 28 in the A seat from 2002-2012. Lake served consecutively in the Idaho House of Representatives from 1997 until 2002 when the seat was in District 31. Education Lake graduated from Rigby High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in accounting.
