Provincial Road 215 (PR 215) is a short provincial road in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The road begins at Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 12, the boundary between the Rural Municipalities of Brokenhead and Springfield, and runs approximately east to the Town of Beausejour. It passes through the town as Park Avenue and ends at the town's east end at a junction with PTH 44 and PR 302. PR 215 runs exactly parallel to the PTH 12/PTH 44 multiplex to the north and serves as a business route through Beausejour for both highways. It was first listed on Manitoba's official highway map in 1966. Beausejour () is a town in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It is 46 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg, just west of the Canadian Shield and Whiteshell Provincial Park. The French name means "beautiful stay". The town is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead. Originally known as Stony Prairie, Beausejour was named in 1877 by Mrs H.W.D. Armstrong, wife of a government railway surveyor, when a telegraph office was installed there to serve settlers along the nearby Brokenhead River. History In 1906, the "Manitoba Glass Works" was founded, in a town now known as Beausejour, by Joseph Keilback and his partners. Sustained by a nearby deposit of high quality sand, it was the first glass container factory in Western Canada. Glassblowers from Poland and the United States, supported by local labour, used silica sands to produce bottles for breweries and soft drink companies in Winnipeg. Springfield is a rural municipality (RM) in Manitoba, Canada. Manitoba Provincial Road 302 (PR 302) is a provincial road in Manitoba, Canada. The road travels through parts of six municipalities. Route description The north terminus of PR 302 is located at the junction of PTH 44 and PR 215 near Beausejour. From there, the road heads south, crossing the Trans-Canada Highway at Richer, and eventually ends at PR 201 approximately east of Vita. Along the way, it has short concurrences with PTH 15 and PR 210, and travels through the communities of Beausejour, Richer, La Broquerie, and Zhoda.
