Felice Maniero (born September 2, 1954) is a former Italian crime boss who was the head of the Mala del Brenta, a criminal organisation based in the region of Veneto throughout the 1980s and 1990s. His nickname is ''Faccia d'Angelo'' ("Angel Face"), which he shares with the Milanese mobster Francis Turatello and Camorra boss Edoardo Contini. He was born at Campolongo Maggiore, in the province of Venice. Originally the leader of a small band of thieves, through connections with Sicilian mafiosi in exile in Veneto he was able to expand and enlarge his organization and modeled it after the mafia. Filippo "Pippo" Maniero (born 11 September 1972, in Padua) is an Italian retired association footballer who played as a striker. Club career Maniero played for several teams throughout his career, most notably A.C. Milan, Parma, Palermo and Torino. On 31 August 2005, after having been released on a free transfer consequently to the cancellation of Torino, he signed for Rangers, the last day of the transfer window at the start of the 2005–06 season. Career Juventus and loans Maniero began his youth career with Juventus and was promoted to the Primavera reserve team in 2005. As a player of the under-20 team, Maniero also received some call ups by Didier Deschamps for the senior side in various Coppa Italia and Serie B matches, specifically in matches against AlbinoLeffe, Lecce, and Genoa, appearing as an unused substitute on the bench. This was the season when Juventus were relegated to the second division for the first time in their history following the Calciopoli scandal, and Maniero was eventually part of the team that led Juventus back to Serie A that year.
