Mane Magalu
''Mane Magalu'' () is a 2003 Indian Kannada-language family drama film written and directed by Om Sai Prakash. It features Radhika and Vishal Hegde. The music for the film is by Vandemataram Srinivas in his Kannada debut. The film is a remake of Prakash's ''Maa Inti Adapaduchu '' (1996), which itself is based on the Marathi film ''Halad Rusli Kunku Hasla'' (1991). The film was released on 1 August 2003 along with ''Preethi Prema Pranaya''. Cast Production The film is about pulse polio with Vishal Hegde playing a handicapped man. Soundtrack The film's background score and the soundtracks are composed by Vandemataram Srinivas, who composed for the Telugu film. The music rights were acquired by Ananda Audio. Enreddy Prakash Reddy a.k.a. Om Sai Prakash is a Kannada and Telugu film director and producer. Career Born in Phirangipuram in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, he left Phirangipuram to Chennai with the aim of becoming a film director. He started as an assistant to Kodi Ramakrishna and then charted his own course in direction. He has a trademark of directing films with sentimental and devotional themes. Girija Lokesh
Girija Lokesh is an Indian theatre and film actress and occasional film producer who works in Kannada cinema. She is wife of actor Lokesh, and is the mother of actor and television presenter Srujan Lokesh and Pooja Lokesh. Pulse Polio is an immunisation campaign established by the government of India to eliminate poliomyelitis (polio) in India by vaccinating all children under the age of five years against the polio virus. The project fights polio through a large-scale, pulse vaccination programme and monitoring for poliomyelitis cases. History In India, vaccination against polio started in around 1972 with Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI). By 1999, it covered around 60% of infants, giving three doses of OPV to each.
