Mandela Barnes
J. Mandela Barnes (born December 1, 1986) is an American politician who served as the 45th lieutenant governor of Wisconsin from 2019 to 2023. A member of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party, he was the Wisconsin State Assembly, state representative for the Wisconsin's 11th Assembly district, 11th district from 2013 to 2017. Barnes is the first African American to serve as Wisconsin's lieutenant governor. Barnes was the Democratic nominee in the 2022 United States Senate election in Wisconsin, losing to incumbent Republican Party (United States), Republican Senator Ron Johnson. Thomas Mark Barrett (born December 8, 1953) is an American diplomat and politician who served as the United States ambassador to Luxembourg from 2022 to 2025. He previously served as the 44th mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 2004 until 2021. John Marshall High School is a public high school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (United States). John Marshall is part of the Milwaukee Public School system.
