Manchester Transit Authority
The Manchester Transit Authority, or MTA, is a public transportation provider in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. It was founded in 1973 and operates 13 regular bus routes through the city, including a free downtown circulator, which was rebranded as the Green DASH (Downtown Area Shuttle) in 2011. In general, service is hourly, with more frequent service along corridors served by multiple routes, and especially on the Green DASH. It is a hub and spoke system that meets downtown at Veterans Park (labeled as Center of NH on southbound departing lines) with one line departing from the nearby Canal Street Transportation Center. Service is generally limited to the city of Manchester, with a few lines extending into the neighboring towns of Bedford, Goffstown, Hooksett and Londonderry, and two express lines running to Concord and Nashua. Dean Lawrence Kamen (; born April 5, 1951) is an American engineer, inventor, and businessman. New Hampshire State House
The New Hampshire State House, located in Concord at 107 North Main Street, is the state capitol building of New Hampshire. The capitol houses the New Hampshire General Court, Governor, and Executive Council. The building was constructed on a block framed by Park Street (named in honor of the architect, Stuart James Park) to the north, Main Street to the east, Capitol Street to the south, and North State Street to the west. Construction The current statehouse was designed in 1814, and paid for by the city of Concord. In 1816, local Quakers sold the lot where their meetinghouse was to the state of New Hampshire, and the building was built between 1816 and 1819 by architect Stuart Park. The Mall of New Hampshire is a shopping mall located in the Lower South Willow neighborhood of Manchester, New Hampshire. Its major anchoring stores are Macy's, Old Navy, JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, and Dave & Buster's. Pinardville is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. It is a suburban neighborhood adjacent to the city of Manchester. The population was 5,034 at the 2020 census. Pinardville has existed since 1906. History In 1906, Edmond Pinard (1857-1933), a grocer by trade, developed real-estate holdings on the Manchester/Goffstown town line.
