MNL-2
The MNL-2 is the second-tier football league of Myanmar. The official name is MNL-2 League. The inaugural season began in 2013. History The MNL-2 was founded in 2013 as part of MFF's effort to extend competitiveness into the nation's football system. The league is played in a league cup format. After two rounds of competition, the top two teams compete each other for the final. The two finalists are promoted to the MNL. The top four finishers from the league also qualify for the MFF Cup. For the inaugural season in 2013, nine teams participated. Mawyawadi FC and Chin United were relegated from the MNL at the end of the 2012 season, while Myawady FC were promoted from the Amateur League. The 2015 MNL-2 winner was Southern Myanmar and 1st runner-up was Horizon FC. In the 2016 MNL-2 season, four new clubs were included. Three clubs will qualify to the MNL-2. 2013 Myanmar National League
The 2013 Myanmar National League season was the 4th edition of Myanmar National League. The fixture schedule was released on third weeks of December 2012. The season began on 5 January 2013 and ended on 25 August 2013. At the end of the 2013 season, the top two teams from the MNL-2 New Holland League were promoted to the MNL while the two bottom teams from the MNL were relegated to the MNL-2. The 2015 General Aung San Shield () is the first season of Myanmar knockout football competition. The tournament is organized by the Myanmar Football Federation. It is the league cup competition started in 2015 Myanmar football season. This cup succeeded the Myanmar Football Federation Cup. MFF has changed the cup competition style as follows. In the first round, ten clubs competing in 2015 MNL-2 and two clubs which were promoted to 2015 MNL, twelve teams in total, will be involved playing at a neutral ground with six teams emerged as winners. The 2015 Myanmar National League (known as the Ooredoo Myanmar National League for sponsorship reasons) is the 6th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs. The first round of the season began on 10 January 2015, with the last round ending on 31 October 2015. Emerson Ricardo Alcântara (born 27 August 1970 in Cândido Mota) is a Brazilian Association football, football coach (sport), manager and a former Defender (association football), defender and defensive midfielder for C.F.
