Dylan "Mamba" Smith (born June 9, 1992) is an American social media personality, commentator, and racing driver of Haitian descent. He currently works as an analyst for NASCAR.com (where he is mostly known for his unofficial role as the "Chief Hype Officer of NASCAR") and ''NASCAR on Fox''. As a driver, he has competed in late model racing and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series. Racing career Early career Smith would get a head start in racing at the age of 4, after his father purchased him a go-kart due to his love for Thunder Road International SpeedBowl, his home track growing up. He and his father would win up to 100 go-kart races together, which grew Smith's love for racing. Dover Motor Speedway
Dover Motor Speedway (formerly known as the Dover International Speedway from 2002 to 2021 and as the Dover Downs International Speedway from 1969 to 2001) is a oval track in Dover, Delaware. Thunder Road International Speedbowl, more commonly known as just Thunder Road, is a high-banked, Road surface, paved short track motor racing, short track speedway located in the town of Barre (town), Vermont, Barre, Vermont. The track was founded by Ken Squier in 1960 and sold by Squier and co-owner Tom Curley in the spring of 2017 to former Thunder Road track champion Cris Michaud and local businessman Pat Malone. Currently, Thunder Road hosts three weekly championship divisions: Late Models, Flying Tigers, and Street Stocks along with the non-point Road Warrior class. The track is known for hosting its weekly races on Thursday night and as of April 2020 it was one of three active race tracks in Vermont. MDM Motorsports was an American professional stock car racing team that most recently competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, and the ARCA Racing Series. Hickory Motor Speedway
Hickory Motor Speedway is a short track located in Hickory, North Carolina. It is one of stock car racing's most storied venues, and is often referred to as the "World's Most Famous Short Track" and the "Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars". The track first opened in 1951 as a dirt track. Gwyn Staley won the first race at the speedway and later became the first track champion. Drivers such as Junior Johnson, Ned Jarrett, and Ralph Earnhardt also became track champions in the 1950s, with Earnhardt winning five of them. In 1953, NASCAR's Grand National Series (later the NASCAR Cup Series) visited the track for the first time. Charlotte Motor Speedway (known as Lowe's Motor Speedway from 1999 to 2009 due to sponsorship reasons) is a quad-oval Oval track racing#Intermediate, intermediate speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The ARCA Menards Series East (formerly known by other names) is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). Races are held at oval tracks ranging from in length and on two road courses, in length. Most races are stand-alone events (i.e. not in conjunction with other NASCAR touring series), but there are three race weekends that are in combination with the NASCAR Cup Series. Kyle Miyata Larson (born July 31, 1992) is an American professional racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 5 Chevrolet ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports, part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 17 Chevrolet SS for the same team and the No. 88 Chevrolet SS for JR Motorsports.
