Malosco Castle
Malosco (''Malós-c'' in local dialect) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about north of Trento. History Malosco was occupied in ancient times, testament to the abundance of Roman coins and other artifacts unearthed in the area and it had an important status among the nobility. The parish church of Saint Tecla in the main town dates back to 1228. Casa Nesler is decorated with a fresco and the coat-of-arms of the Guarienti family, prominent in the area, and is dated to 1576. Numerous other old noble houses are located in the main town. The area that is now Malosco, Ronzone, Sejo and Sarnonico was approved by Charter by Cardinal Ludovico Madruzzo, Prince-Bishop of the Bishopric of Trento. In 2003, Malosco was the meeting site of an international group of scholars of children's and family services that developed a plan for comparative international research on child and family community based centers. ... The Imperial Crown of Austria (german: Österreichische Kaiserkrone) is a crown formerly in use by the monarchs of the Habsburg monarchy. The crown was originally made in 1602 in Prague by Jan Vermeyen as the personal crown of Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II, and therefore is also known as the Crown of Emperor Rudolf II (german: Rudolfskrone). Fortunato Depero (30 March 1892 – 29 November 1960) was an Italian futurist painter, writer, sculptor, and graphic designer. Biography Although born in Fondo or in the neighboring village of Malosco, according to other sources (in the Italian Trentino region, at that time the County of Tyrol in the Austrian-Hungarian empire), Depero grew up in Rovereto and it was here he first began exhibiting his works, while serving as an apprentice to a marble worker. It was on a 1913 trip to Florence that he discovered a copy of the paper ''Lacerba'' and an article by one of the founders of the futurism movement, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti. Depero was inspired, and in 1914 moved to Rome and met fellow futurist Giacomo Balla. It was with Balla in 1915 that he wrote the manifesto ''Ricostruzione futurista dell’universo'' ("Futurist Reconstruction of the Universe") which expanded upon the ideas introduced by the other futurists.
