Mallory Reaves
Mallory Reaves (born 1984 to parents Michael Reaves and Brynne Chandler) is a writer from Southern California. She was initially known for her adaptations of the popular manga series '' After School Nightmare'' (nominated for a 2007 Will Eisner Award), '' Black Sun, Silver Moon'', '' Her Majesty's Dog'', and ''07-Ghost''. In addition to her work adapting manga, she assisted in editing or producing many other titles, the Go! Comi website content, and monthly newsletter. In 2013, she co-authored ''The Silver Dream'' with Michael Reaves and Neil Gaiman. The book was a sequel to the ''New York Times'' bestseller ''InterWorld''. The third volume, ''Eternity's Wheel'', was released in 2015. Most recently, she authored the graphic novel ''Mirror Moon'' (2021), set in the universe of ''The Nightmare Before Christmas''. Michael Reaves
James Michael Reaves (September 14, 1950 – March 20, 2023) was an American writer, known for his contributions as a script writer and story editor to a number of 1980s and 1990s animated television series, including '' Gargoyles'' and '' Batman: The Animated Series''. He has also written media tie-in novels, children's books, and original fiction. His work was often done collaboratively, notably with his then-wife Brynne Stephens (for numerous TV episodes in the 1980s and 1990s), and with Steve Perry, Neil Gaiman, Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff, and his daughter Mallory Reaves for various novels. Reaves won a 1993 Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program for his work on ''Batman: The Animated Series''. ''Star Trek: The New Voyages'' (1976) is an anthology of short fiction based on ''Star Trek'', edited by Sondra Marshak and Myrna Culbreath. Although published professionally, the collected stories were written and submitted by fans. Many of the stories were previously published in fanzines, or collected in fan-published anthologies. ''The New Voyages'' was commissioned by Frederik Pohl following his acquisition of ''Star Trek Lives!'', which featured essays on the growing ''Star Trek'' fandom, and a chapter on ''Star Trek'' fan fiction. From 1976 to 1996, ''The New Voyages'' was reprinted twenty times. The final printing by Bantam Spectra, in 1996, featured new cover art by Kazuhiko Sano. , also known as ''NieA under 7'', is a doujinshi manga series created by graphic designer Yoshitoshi Abe and later published by Kadokawa Shoten on their monthly ''shōnen'' manga magazine ''Monthly Ace Next'' from October 1999 to January 2001.
