Mallikarjuna Rao (actor)
Mallikarjuna Rao (13 December 1951 – 24 June 2008) was an Indian actor and comedian who worked in Telugu films. Rao, popularly known as ''Battala Satti'' for his role in the movie '' Ladies Tailor''. He has acted in many movies in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. He acted in around 375 Telugu movies over the last 25 years. Early life He was born in Kasimkota Anakapalle, Visakhapatnam district. Career Mallikarjuna Rao started his career in films in 1973. He became popular with role of 'Battala Sattigadu' in Ladies Tailor directed by Vamsi. Ladies Tailor, Hello Brother, Tammudu and Badri are some of the films in which he excelled audience with his comedy. Telugu actor, writer Tanikella Bharani treats Mallikarjuna Rao as his guru and to his credit Mallikarjuna Rao introduced L.B. Anakapalle
Anakapalli is a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Anakapalli district. The municipality was merged with the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. ''Lawyer Suhasini'' is a 1987 Telugu-language legal drama film, produced by D. S. Prasad under the Jaya Krishna Combines banner and directed by Vamsy. It stars Bhanu Chander, Suhasini and Rajendra Prasad , with music composed by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. It was released on 6 March 1987. ''Bhargava Ramudu'' is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language action film produced by S. Jaya Rama Rao under the Jaya Productions banner, presented by Rao Gopal Rao and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. ''Chandamama'' was a classic Indian monthly magazine for children, famous for its illustrations. It also published long-running mythological/magical stories that ran for years. Originally, "Chandamama" was started in Telugu by Chakrapani and Nagi Reddi, who later became noted Telugu film producers. It was edited by Kodavatiganti Kutumba Rao, a very close friend of Chakrapani and a literary colossus in Telugu literature, who edited it for 28 years, till his death in August 1980. In 2007, Chandamama was bought by Geodesic, a Mumbai-based software services provider company. They planned to take the then 60-year-old magazine into the digital era. However, the magazine is currently defunct as Geodesic itself was found defaulting on outstanding loans and was ordered to be wound up by the Mumbai High Court. ''Swathi Muthyam'' () is a 1986 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by K. Viswanath and produced by Edida Nageswara Rao. Aalaapana Vamsy is an Indian film director, screenwriter and music director known for his works in Telugu cinema. In 1985, he received the National Film Award for ''Sitaara''. Vamsy has his own style of making the movie with art like the director Bapu. Early life Vamsy was born in Balabhadrapuram,and brought up in the village of Pasalapudi, near Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Career Vamsy started writing stories at the age of 15. His first story is "Satya Sundari Navvindi" was read in All India Radio in 1975.
