Malla Jawira (Aymara ''malla'' lead, ''jawira'' river, "lead river", Hispanicized spelling ''Malla Jahuira'') is a river in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is a right tributary of the Luribay River whose waters flow to the La Paz River. Malla Jawira originates near the mountain León Jiwata of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Loayza Province, Malla Municipality. At first it flows to the southwest along the mountains named P'iq'iñ Q'ara and Malla Qullu, the little town of Malla and Qillqata where it turns to the northwest. Some of its affluents from the right are Wila Jawira and Jach'a K'uchu Jawira. Choqueyapu River
The Choqueyapu River, sometimes called the La Paz River, is a river in the La Paz Department of Bolivia. It belongs to the drainage basin of the Amazon. The river originates in a spring called Achachi Qala ( Aymara: ''achachi'' border stone, old, grandfather, ''qala'' stone) in the Cordillera Real near the mountain Chacaltaya at a height of 5,395 m. It crosses the city La Paz from north to south. South of Illimani and north of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range it turns to the east; at this point it is better known as the La Paz River. The confluence with Cotacajes River is the beginning of the Beni River, also known as Alto Beni ("high Beni") in this region. The Cordillera Quimsa Cruz is a mountain range in the La Paz Department in Bolivia situated south east of Lake Titicaca and north of Lake Uru Uru, measuring about 35–40 km in length and 12 km at its widest point.
