Malik Fitts
Malik Jahmal Fitts (born July 4, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for SIG Strasbourg of the LNB Élite. He played college basketball for the South Florida Bulls and the Saint Mary's Gaels. Early life Fitts grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California and began playing basketball at the age of four, idolizing Kobe Bryant. He attended Damien High School. He helped lead the school to a CIF Division III state title as a senior and averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds per game, earning First Team All-Inland Valley honors. Fitts opted to complete a postgraduate year at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. While at Brewster, he committed to play college basketball at South Florida over offers from DePaul, Bradley, Nevada and Hawaii. College career Fitts began his collegiate career at South Florida. Saint Mary's Gaels Men's Basketball
The Saint Mary's Gaels men's basketball team represents Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California, competing in the West Coast Conference of the NCAA. The team plays home games in the University Credit Union Pavilion, capacity 3,500; it is one of the smaller gyms in the WCC. Their head coach is Randy Bennett, who is the school's all-time wins leader. The Gaels have appeared in thirteen NCAA Tournaments—1959, 1989, 1997, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. 2022–23 NBA G League Season
The 2022–23 NBA G League season was the 22nd season of the NBA G League, the minor league basketball league of the National Basketball Association (NBA). For the second consecutive season, the schedule was split into two parts: the 18-game Showcase Cup began on November 4, 2022, followed by a 32-game regular season tipped off on December 27. It is a gap year option intended for students who either have not applied or were not admitted to college.
