Malhani is a constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly covering the city of Malhani in the Jaunpur District of Uttar Pradesh, India. Malhani is one of five Assembly constituencies in the Jaunpur Lok Sabha constituency. Since 2008, this Assembly constituency is numbered 367 amongst 403 constituencies. Jaunpur District
Jaunpur district is a district in the Varanasi Division of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is Jaunpur which is situated on the banks of the Gomti River. It is located 228 km southeast of the state capital Lucknow. 65 km northwest of Varanasi and 732 km southeast of New Delhi. The district has two Lok sabha seats and nine Vidhan Sabha seats. According to the 2011 census, Jaunpur has a gender ratio of 1,018 females to 1,000 males, the highest in Uttar Pradesh. The main language spoken in the district is Hindi and Urdu. Nishad Party
Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal is a political party in India. It was founded in 2016. The Nishad Party was formed for empowerment of Nishad, Kewats, Bind, Mallah, Sahani, Kashyap, Gond communities whose traditional occupations centred on rivers, such as boatmen or fishermen. Its founder is Sanjay Nishad, a former member of the Bahujan Samaj Party. According to Nishad, a separate party representing these communities was essential as they had played an integral role in the victories of BSP and Samajwadi Party.
