Malena Mörling
Malena Mörling (born 1965), is a Swedish-American poet and translator. She is the author of two books of poetry, ''Ocean Avenue'', which won the New Issues Press Poetry Prize in 1998 and ''Astoria'', published by Pittsburgh Press in 2006. Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Award
The Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Award was an award given annually to beginning women writers. Established in 1995 by American author Rona Jaffe, the Foundation offers grants to writers of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. The award was discontinued in March 2021; the foundation cited the high cost of administering the award as the main factor. Recipients of the award were selected through nominations only. Tomas Tranströmer
Tomas Gösta Tranströmer (; 15 April 1931 – 26 March 2015) was a Swedish poet, psychologist and translator. His poems captured the long Swedish winters, the rhythm of the seasons and the palpable, atmospheric beauty of nature. Tranströmer's work is also characterized by a sense of mystery and wonder underlying the routine of everyday life, a quality which often gives his poems a religious dimension. He has been described as a Christian poet. Tranströmer is acclaimed as one of the most important Scandinavian writers since the Second World War. New England College (NEC) is a private liberal arts college in Henniker, New Hampshire. As of Fall 2020 New England College's enrollment was 4,327 students (1,776 undergraduate and 2,551 graduate). The college is regionally accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
