Malcolm Lee (basketball)
Malcolm Toshio Lee (born May 22, 1990) is a former American professional basketball player who last played for the CSO Voluntari of the Liga Națională. As a college basketball player with the UCLA Bruins, he received all-conference honors in the Pacific-10 (later known as the Pac-12). After his junior year, he was selected in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft, and began his professional career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Early years Lee was born in Riverside, California, to Toshio and Delma Lee. He attended John W. North High School in Riverside. Considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, Lee was listed as the No. 5 shooting guard and the No. 47 player in the nation in 2008. Lee was named to the All-Pac-10 first team and Pac-10 All-Defensive team in his junior year at UCLA in 2011. Clubul Sportiv Orășenesc Voluntari 2005, commonly known as CSO Voluntari or simply Voluntari, is a Romanian multi-sport club based in Voluntari who was founded at the initiative of the office of the Mayor of Voluntari. The All-Pac-12 men's basketball team is an annual Pac-12 Conference men's basketball, Pac-12 Conference honor bestowed on the best players in the conference following every college basketball season. Pac-12 coaches select a 10-player first team and a five-player second team. There were two five-man teams from 1956 though 1979, followed by one 10-man first team from 1980 through 2008. For one year in 2008, there were three five-man teams selected. During the final week of the regular season, Pac-12 coaches nominate up to three players from their team to be placed on the ballot for consideration. Coaches submit their votes by the Sunday after the season ends and cannot vote for their own players. Previously, a player needed to be selected on 50 percent of the ballots to be on the team. FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship
The FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup, previously known as the FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship, is the Americas basketball championship for men's under-18 national teams that takes place every two years in the FIBA Americas zone. The top four finishers qualify for the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup. Qualification USA and Canada participate in the Under-18 AmeriCup without playing qualifiers. The 2008 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an All-star basketball game played on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, home of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in 2008. The game was the 31st annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1978. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is an American all-star basketball game played each year for boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls.
