Maksym Mazuryk (; born April 2, 1983) is a Ukrainian pole vaulter. He was born in Donetsk. He is sporter of Fenerbahçe S.K. from Turkey. Career He was the 2002 World Junior champion, and finished 8th in the pole vault final at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. He won a silver medal at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona. His personal best is 5.82 metres achieved in June 2008 in Yalta. On 18 October 2016, he was sanctioned by IOC for testing positive to turinabol Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone (CDMT; brand name Oral Turinabol), also known as 4-chloro-17β-hydroxy17α-methylandrosta-1,4-dien-3-one, is an anabolic–androgenic steroid (AAS). Diamond League
The Diamond League is an annual series of elite track and field athletic competitions comprising fifteen invitational athletics meetings. The series sits in the top tier of the World Athletics one-day meet competitions. The inaugural season was in 2010. It was designed to replace the IAAF Golden League, which had been held annually since 1998. The 11th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) was held in Moscow from March 10 to March 12, 2006 in the Olympic Stadium (Moscow arena), Olimpiyski Sport arena.
