Makhdoom Rashid
Makhdoom Rashid (), () is a town in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Makhdoom Rashid is 20 km from Multan towards the east on Vehari Road (old Multan Dehli Road). Makhdoom Abdul Rashid Haqqani The town is named after the Sufi saint Makhdoom Abdul Rashid Haqqani who founded this town in the 11th century. Makhdoom Abdul Rashid Haqqani was born in 669 Hijri and died in 773 Hijri. His father's name was Makhdoom Kabeer-ud-Din Ahmad Ghous, from Banu Hashim tribe. He was an elder first cousin and brother-in-law of Baha-ud-din Zakariya. He was a disciple of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani, a Sufi saint buried in Khatlan, Tajikistan. Haqqani's urs festival is held throughout the month of 'Harh' (June) and attracts pilgrims from other areas. A well near the mausoleum is said to produce water only during the month of Haar. Khatlan
Khatlon Region (), one of the four provinces of Tajikistan, is the most populous of the four first-level administrative regions in the country. It is situated in the southwest of the country, between the Hisor (Gissar) Range in the north and the river Panj in the south and borders on Districts under Republican Subordination in the north, on GBAO in the east, on Afghanistan (Balkh, Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces) in the southeast and on Uzbekistan ( Surxondaryo region)in the west. 2023 Pakistani Census
The 2023 Census of Pakistan was the detailed enumeration of the Pakistani population and the seventh national census in the country. It was conducted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. It was also the first ever digital census to be held in Pakistan, including the first in South Asian history. The census was initially held from 1 March 2023 to 1 April 2023. However, enumeration was later extended several times until 30 May 2023, because of incomplete enumeration in large cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, where people are more mobile and therefore harder to count, and in remote and rural Balochistan. The extension was also used by PBS officials and census takers for quality reviews, to check if all households and people were properly counted in each area.
