''Make This Your Own'' is the third and final album by British alternative rock band The Cooper Temple Clause. It reached #33 in the UK album charts, despite not having the major label backing afforded to the band's first two albums. Release "Homo Sapiens" is the first single release from ''Make This Your Own'' released on 22 January 2007. A promotional blank CD-R and sleeve with artwork were given out to fans at gigs on the band's 2006 UK tour. It reached number thirty-six on the UK Singles Chart. The music video for this single was sent to MTV2. "Waiting Game" is the second single from ''Make This Your Own'', released 8 January 2007. It reached #41 in the UK singles chart. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. U-MYX was a music format launched in 2004 which allowed a user to arrange and create their own mix of songs by known music artists. The U-MYX Software is available on CDs (usually on the artist's single release as an Enhanced Section on the CD) and was available as digital downloads from U-MYX's own digital store. Digital U-MYX Sales were UK Chart eligible and counted towards the artist's chart position. U-MYX changed its name to GoMix in 2009. U-MYX Player Users can create and play back U-MYX files using the U-MYX Player application. The U-MYX Player arranges the song in a grid format, divided into Tracks and Sections. Users can turn individual blocks on and off (muting the instruments), adjust the volume curves of tracks, copy, paste, insert and delete sections in order to create their own mix of the track. The Cooper Temple Clause
The Cooper Temple Clause were an English alternative rock band, formed in Wokingham, Berkshire in 1998. The band released three albums before announcing their split on 24 April 2007, following the departure of Daniel Fisher. After signing a record deal with the RCA label in 2000 and putting out several singles and EPs, their debut album, '' See This Through and Leave'', was released in 2002 to critical acclaim. 2003's follow-up, '' Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose'', achieved the band international recognition on the strength of the singles "Promises, Promises" and "Blind Pilots". ''Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose'' is the second album from the British alternative rock band, The Cooper Temple Clause, released on 8 September 2003 in the UK by Morning Records, and on 24 February 2004 in the U.S. by RCA. The title is a quotation from poemby Philip Larkin. Release and commercial performance The album charted at #5 in the UK charts and dropped to #41 the following week.
