Mokbul Hossain (Pabna-2 Politician)
Mokbul Hossain (Bengali language, Bengali:মোকবুল হসেন), also known as Maqbul Hossain Santu, was Jatiya Party (Ershad) politician and a member of parliament for Pabna-2. He was a presidium of the Jatiya Party (Ershad). Career Hossain fought in the Bangladesh Liberation War. Hossain was elected to parliament from Pabna-2 as a Jatiya Party candidate in 1986. He was re-elected in 1988. He served as the chairperson of the Pabna District Council. Death Hossain died on 28 August 2021 in Shimla Hospital and Diagnostic Center in Pabna District, Bangladesh. He was buried in Arifpur graveyard. References

Syed Makbul Hossain
Syed Makbul Hossain (; 1946 – 16 March 2022), also known as Lechu Mia (), was a Bangladeshi politician and businessman. He was twice a member of parliament (1986 and 2001) and held the Sylhet-6 ( Beanibazar-Golapganj) seat. Birth and early life Syed Makbul Hossain was born in 1946 in the village of Sundisail in West Amura Union, Golapganj, Sylhet, British Raj. He obtained both his BA and MA in History from the University of Dhaka. He later obtained his PhD from the University of Calcutta. His wife was Sajeda Parveen. He had one son, Syed Tanvir Hossain, and one daughter, Syeda Adiba Hussain. Career Syed Makbul Hossain actively participated in the war of liberation. He started his career as a government official after the independence of Bangladesh. He served as the Deputy Commissioner of Tangail District. Mohammad Makbul Hossain (born 14 August 1961) is a retired two star officer of Bangladesh Navy. He is the former director general of Bangladesh Coast Guard and antecedent assistant chief of naval staff for operations and the personnel. Early life and education Makbul was born on 1961 in Mirzapur union of Tangail District, then East Pakistan (now Dhaka Division, Bangladesh). He completed high school from the Mirzapur Cadet College and enlisted to Bangladesh Naval Academy on January 1979. He was commissioned in executive branch on 1 August 1981.
