Circuit Makati is a riverfront redevelopment project by Ayala Land on the site of the former Santa Ana Race Track in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The site located in the northwest portion of Makati, on the south bank of the Pasig River, is planned to contain a mixed-use development, mixed-use entertainment complex which would include an indoor theater, a shopping mall, hotels and residential and office skyscrapers. Sangguniang Kabataan
A Sangguniang Kabataan (abbreviated as SK; ) is a community council that represents the youth in a barangay in the Philippines. Established to provide young people with a platform for civic engagement and participation in Local government in the Philippines, local governance, the SK is composed of elected officials aged 18 to 24, including a chairperson and several councilors. Its primary mandate is to initiate, plan, and implement programs, projects, and activities that promote the welfare and development of youth within the barangay. Under the SK Reform Law of 2016, or Republic Act No. 10742, the age requirement for SK officials was raised from 15–17 years old to 18–24 years old to ensure legal accountability and capacity to enter into contracts. Makati's 2nd Congressional District
Makati's 2nd congressional district is one of the two legislative districts in Makati. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1998. The district consists of three barangays in northeastern Makati: Guadalupe Nuevo, Guadalupe Viejo, and Pinagkaisahan. The ten Embo barangays—Cembo, Comembo, East Rembo, Pembo, Pitogo, Post Proper Northside, Post Proper Southside, Rizal, South Cembo and West Rembo—were formerly part of the district until 2023, when their jurisdiction was transferred from Makati to Taguig in 2023, following the resolution of the territorial dispute between the two cities. The Makatizens United Party (MKTZNU), is a Makati-based local political organization. MKTZNU was led and founded by Makati Mayor Abby Binay. Monique Yazmin María "Nik" Quiríno Lagdaméo (born July 25, 1975) is a Filipino politician who is the representative-elect for Makati's first district. She previously held the seat from 2010 to 2016 and has served as the vice mayor of Makati since 2016, under the mayoralty of Abigail Binay.
