Makari (from the Greek language, Greek word ''Μακάρι'', which expresses wishfulness) is an American rock music, rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2011. The band currently consists of vocalist Andy Cizek, guitarists Matt Beljan and Eric Stewart, bass guitarist John Tomasso, and drummer Kevin Beljan. History Makari was formed in 2011 by guitarists Matt Beljan and Eric Stewart, bass guitarist John Tomasso, drummer Kevin Beljan, vocalist Brandon Cullen and keyboardist Lindsey England. With this lineup, Makari independently released EPs ''The Escape'' (2011), ''See Dreams'' (2013) and ''Ghost Stories'' (2015), as well as maxi-single ''Knives, Knives, Knives'' (2013). The latter featured guest vocals from Tilian Pearson (ex-Dance Gavin Dance and Tides of Man) on a track "Life, Barefoot". Capture The Crown
Capture (originally known as Capture the Crown) were an Australian metalcore band formed in early 2010 after the break-up of another metalcore outfit, Atlanta Takes State. The band rose to prominence under their original name Capture the Crown when they released the music video for their song, "You Call That a Knife? This Is a Knife!" (2011) on YouTube. The band was signed to Sumerian Records in December 2012 but were dropped in October the following year. ''There’s A Place I Want To Take You'' is the second studio album by American recording artist Kurt Travis, released on May 17, 2019, through Blue Swan Records and his own label, Esque Records. It also serves as a follow-up to his debut studio album, ''Everything Is Beautiful'' (2014). The album's lyrical content deals with heartbreak and emotional turmoil while, sonically, Travis pursued folk-inspired songwriting, using elements of indie rock, electronica, dream pop, and power pop. It was produced by Mike Watts and recorded at VuDu Recording Studios in Port Jefferson, New York and features a guest appearance from singer-rapper Andrés on two tracks. Andrew Robert Wade (born August 4, 1984) is an American recording engineer and music producer. Early years and A Wish for Marilynne (2002–2006) In August 2002, Wade started playing guitar and singing lead vocals in Christian rock/emo band A Wish for Marilynne. Kurt Travis (born January 16, 1984) is an American singer, musician, and songwriter from Sacramento, California. He is currently part of the post-hardcore bands Royal Coda, A Lot Like Birds, and Push Over and the math rock duo Gold Necklace, and was formerly a vocalist in the post-hardcore bandDance Gavin Dance. Travis began his musical career in 2001. He joined post-hardcore band Five Minute Ride, releasing the extended plays (EPs), ''Bathroom Walls...
