Makabana
Makabana is a small town in the south of the Republic of the Congo. It is the seat of the Makabana District in the Niari Department. Transportation Makabana is served by a station on the national railway network and by Makabana Airport. Makabana Airport is an airstrip serving the village of Makabana in the Niari Department, Republic of the Congo. The runway is southwest of the village. The Makabana non-directional beacon (Ident: MK) is east-northeast of the runway. The Republic of the Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville, the Congo Republic or simply the Congo (the last ambiguously also referring to the neighbouring Democratic Republic of the Congo), is a country located on the western coast of Central Africa to the west of the Congo River.
