The Main Staff of the Serbian Army of Krajina () was the highest professional and Staff (military), staff organ for preparation and use of the Serbian Army of Krajina in war and in peace. The Main Staff was formed on 16 October 1992, and its activities started on 27 November of the same year. During its existence, the Main Staff had constant problems with personnel. Active Duty
Active duty, in contrast to reserve duty, is a full-time occupation as part of a military force. Indian The Indian Armed Forces are considered to be one of the largest active service forces in the world, with almost 1.42 million Active Standing Army. An additional 2.20 million reserve forces can be activated in a few weeks depending on the situation under the order of the President of India who is the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces of India. Mile Novaković
Mile Novaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Миле Новаковић; 29 April 1950 – 14 September 2015) was a Croatian Serb major general active in the Serbian Army of Krajina and in the Armed Forces of FR Yugoslavia, during and after the Croatian War of Independence. He was tried in absentia by a Croatian court in 1995 for war crimes, being sentenced to 20 years in jail. In 2003, another Yugoslav Army official was apprehended by Macedonian officials citing an Interpol warrant, as he tried to cross into the country. This man was released after the mistaken identity was discovered. The real Novaković remained at large in Serbia. In 2010, Novaković testified at the trial of Momčilo Perišić at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Milan Čeleketić ( sr-cyr, Милан Челекетић; born 12 August 1946) is a Serbian former major general active in the Serbian Army of Krajina and in the Armed Forces of FR Yugoslavia during and after the Croatian War of Independence. Čeleketić was the commander of the 18th Western Slavonian Corps of the Serbian Army of Krajina. He became Chief of the Main Staff of the Serbian Army of Krajina on 22 February 1994. Mile Mrkšić
Mile Mrkšić ( sr-cyrl, Миле Мркшић; 1 May 1947 – 16 August 2015) was a colonel of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) in charge of the unit involved in the Battle of Vukovar during the Croatian War of Independence in 1991. He was convicted for not preventing the mass killing of 264 Croats that followed the fall of Vukovar, and sentenced to 20 years. Biography Mrkšić was born in Kozarac near Vrginmost on 1 May 1947. After the battle of Vukovar, he was promoted to General in the JNA and later Commander in Chief of the Serbian Army of Krajina (SVK) in May 1995. After the fall of Krajina in August 1995, he was denied entry into Serbia for a while since many blamed him for the military defeat. The Serbian Army of Krajina (SAK, sh-Latn-Cyrl, Srpska vojska Krajine, Српска војска Крајине, abbr. SVK), also known as the Army of the Republic of Serbian Krajina or Krajina Serbian Army, was the armed forces of the Republic of Serbian Krajina (RSK). The SVK consisted of ground and air elements. Created through the merger of the Territorial Defense of the Republic of Serbian Krajina (TORSK), units of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) and the Krajina Militia, the SVK was officially established on 19 March 1992. 105th Aviation Brigade
The 105th Aviation Brigade () was formed from the disbanded Yugoslav 105th Fighter-Bomber Aviation Regiment in the spring of 1993 by the Serbian Army of Krajina at Udbina Airport. Its accurate organization is unknown, and it's not exactly clear whether the brigade was part of Republika Srpska Air Force due to the aircraft had same roundels. It consisted from at least one combat squadron nicknamed "Kobre" (''Cobras'' - same as former 249th Squadron) and 56th Mixed Helicopter Squadron. 1300 Corporals
1300 corporals ( sr-cyr, 1300 каплара) is the name for the 1300 untrained officers that were sent as a reinforcement to the First Army (Serbia), Serbian First Army at the Battle of Kolubara. At the start of the World War I, war, many young men from both Serbia and Austria-Hungary left school and made themselves available to the High Command of the Royal Serbian Army, Serbian army. They were sent to the military school in Skopje. Even though their training wasn't yet completed, the development of the events forced the High Command to dispatch them to battle. The Serbian army was in retreat, demoralized, in shortage of ammunition, Belgrade was in the enemy's hands, so the world already came to terms with the complete breakdown of Serbia.
