The East River Tunnels are four single-track railroad passenger service tunnels that extend from the eastern end of Pennsylvania Station under 32nd and 33rd Streets in Manhattan and cross the East River to Long Island City in Queens. Ronkonkoma (signed as Ronkonkoma LI MacArthur Airport) is a major railroad station and transportation hub along the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road in Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County, New York. Bethpage Station
Bethpage station is a commuter rail station along the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road. It is located at Stewart Avenue and Jackson Avenue, in Bethpage, New York, and serves Ronkonkoma Branch trains. Trains that travel along the Central Branch also use these tracks, but do not stop here. History Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) tracks were completed on the present line in 1841. At first, trains did not stop here, with Bethpage appearing only as a notation ("late Bethpage") associated with the Farmingdale station to the east. The Central Branch is a rail line owned and operated by the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) in the U.S. state of New York, extending from just east of Bethpage station to just west of Babylon station. It was built in 1873 as part of the Babylon Extension of the Central Railroad of Long Island (CRRLI), which was owned by Alexander Turney Stewart. Hicksville is a commuter rail station on the Main Line and Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, located in Hicksville, New York.
