Main Attrakionz
Main Attrakionz is an American hip hop duo from Oakland, California, composed of rappers Mondre M.A.N. (Damondre Grice) and Squadda B (Charles Glover). Career Grice and Glover met in the seventh grade when they were both kicked out of math class, and began recording raps together. The two have continued to collaborate and have become known as significant players in the "cloud rap" movement, which features "a splinter sound that's ethereal and often hooked around cascading synth lines and amorphous beats". On March 2, 2012, Main Attrakionz released '' Cloudlife'', a collaborative EP with Jel and Zachg. On October 22, 2012, the duo released their first album, '' Bossalinis & Fooliyones'', which was noted in ''Spin'' to have "nine-song run from 'On Tour' to 'Bury Me a Millionaire' is as impressive as anything on a rap record this year". Jack Latham is a British electronic music producer and DJ who performs under the alias Jam City. He has been active since 2010 and records on the label Night Slugs. ''51'' is the second solo mixtape by rapper Kool A.D., formerly of the rap group Das Racist. The mixtape, released in April 2012, is a follow-up to Kool A.D.'s debut solo mixtape, '' The Palm Wine Drinkard,'' which was released in January 2012. Peaking Lights are a husband-and-wife music duo who met in San Francisco in 2006 and moved to Spring Green, Wisconsin in December 2007 where they lived until 2009. The couple then moved to Madison, Wisconsin, where they stayed until their return to the West Coast of the United States, West Coast in 2011 to live in Los Angeles.
