Maia-Mari Sutnik
Maia-Mari Sutnik (born in 1939), was the first Curator of the Curatorial Department of Photography at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto. Career Maia Sutnik joined the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in 1967"Digging Deeper: Maia-mari Sutnik and ''Memory Unearthed''". AGO Art Matters, March 21, 2017. and held many positions at the AGO, including in the Department of Photographic Resources in the 1970s. Through her job, she accumulated resources and gained public support for annual exhibitions of photographs at the AGO; they included work by Robert Bourdeau, Lynne Cohen and others. Jeff Wall
Jeffrey Wall, OC, RSA (born September 29, 1946) is a Canadian artist best known for his large-scale back-lit Cibachrome photographs and art history writing. Early in his career, he helped define the Vancouver School and he has published essays on the work of his colleagues and fellow Vancouverites Rodney Graham, Ken Lum, and Ian Wallace. His photographic tableaux often take Vancouver's mixture of natural beauty, urban decay, and postmodern and industrial featurelessness as their backdrop. Henryk Ross (1 May 1910 1991) was a Polish Jewish photographer who was employed by the Department of Statistics for the Jewish Council within the Łódź Ghetto during the Holocaust in occupied Poland. About Ross was born in 1910. Ross was a sports photographer for a Warsaw newspaper, prior to World War II. The Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées ( en, Great Palace of the Elysian Fields), commonly known as the Grand Palais ( English: Great Palace), is a historic site, exhibition hall and museum complex located at the Champs-Élysées in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. Arnaud Maggs (May 5, 1926 – November 17, 2012) was a Canadian artist and photographer. Born in Montreal, Maggs is best known for stark portraits arranged in grid-like arrangements, which illustrate his interest in systems of identification and classification. After training and working as a graphic designer, Maggs turned to commercial photography in the 1960s. Beginning in 1967, he produced editorial fashion mages and portraiture for several Canadian magazines such as ''Maclean's, Chatelaine (magazine), Chatelaine'', ''Saturday Night (magazine), Saturday Night'', ''Canadian Business'', and ''Toronto Life.''
