Mahmoud Genesh
Mahmoud Abdel Rahim Ahmed Abdel Rahim (; born 25 May 1987), known by his nickname Genish (), is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Egyptian Premier League club Future and the Egypt national team. Career Zamalek Genish joined Zamalek from Olimpi after Zamalek manager then Hossam Hassan recommended him for the club. He played multiple matches with Zamalek but he was mainly the second goalkeeper after the legendary goalkeeper Abdelwahed El-Sayed. His real start with Zamalek was in 2014–15 Egypt Cup when Zamalek manager Jesualdo Ferreira decided that he will play all cup matches with the substitute goalkeepers Mohamed Abou Gabal and Genish, to give Ahmed El-Shenawy some rest. Egyptian Super Cup
The Egyptian Super Cup is Football in Egypt, Egyptian football's annual match contested between the champions of the Egyptian Premier League season and the holders of the Egypt Cup. If the Egyptian Premier League champions also won the Egypt Cup then the cup runners-up provide the opposition. The competition was founded in 2001, the first team to win the trophy was Zamalek SC. The 2020–21 Egypt Cup was the 89th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It is sponsored by Tiger Chips, and known as the Tiger Egypt Cup for sponsorship purposes. It started with the First Preliminary Round on 12 January 2021, and concluded with the final on 21 July 2022. The 2017–18 Egypt Cup was the 86th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It was sponsored by Telecom Egypt, and known as the Telecom Egypt Cup for sponsorship purposes. 286 clubs were accepted into the tournament. It began with the first qualifying round on 23 September 2017, and concluded with the final on 15 May 2018. The winner qualifies for the 2018–19 CAF Confederation Cup. Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by Al Assiouty Sport in the quarter-finals on 30 April 2018. Zamalek won their 26th title after defeating Smouha 5–4 on penalties in the final, after the match ended 1–1 after extra time, winning their 5th Egypt Cup in 6 seasons.
