Mahmoud Abou El-Saoud
Mahmoud Abou El-Saoud Zaki Mohamed Kassem ( ar, محمود أبو السعود; born November 30, 1987) is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Egyptian Premier League side El Mokawloon El Arab. He was also a member of Egypt national football team. Club career Mansoura Although he was still playing for the Egyptian Second Division side Mansoura, Mahmoud Abou El-Saoud greatly shined. After a long and intense race with Smouha in 2008–09, Abou El-Saoud led his club to promote from the second division to the Premier League. He continued to put strong performances with his side in the Premier League and as a result he was called by Hassan Shehata to the Egypt national football team for his first time ever. Even with his effort, Mansoura was eventually relegated to the second division by the end of the 2009–10 season. Mansoura (' , rural: ) is a city in Egypt, with a population of 960,423. It is the capital of the Dakahlia Governorate. Etymology ''Mansoura'' in Arabic means "victorious". The city is named after the El Mansoura Battle against Louis IX of France during the Seventh Crusade. The 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 27th Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial football championship of Africa ( CAF). It was held in Angola, where it began on 10 January 2010 and concluded on 31 January. In the tournament, the hosts Angola were to be joined by 15 nations who advanced from the qualification process that began in October 2007 and involved 53 African national teams. The withdrawal of Togo after a terrorist attack on their bus upon arriving for the tournament reduced the number of participating nations to 15.
