''Mahishasur Marddini – A Night to Remember'' (মহিষাসুরমর্দ্দিনী) is a 2022 India-Bengali film written and directed by acclaimed director Ranjan Ghosh. It stars Rituparna Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee and Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and is considered as the director's boldest work till date in which he experiments with form and style, combining the elements of theatre and cinema. The film was produced by AVA Film Productions Pvt. Ltd. and co-produced by Vinayak Pictures. The film was nominated in a list of Top 50 Indian Feature Films by FIPRESCI-India for their annual jury Award, the Grand Prix 2022. Ranjan Ghosh ( '' ''Rônjôn Ghosh'''') is an Indian filmmaker and screenwriter, known for his acclaimed work in Bengali cinema. He rose to prominence debuting as a screenwriter in 2011, co-authoring Aparna Sen's Bengali feature film Iti Mrinalini, by becoming the first and the only screenwriter the legendary actor-director had collaborated with in her illustrious career. He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the critically acclaimed Hrid Majharey, a Bengali feature film starring Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen. SNDT Women's University, also called by its full name Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University, is a women's university in the city of Mumbai, India.
