Mandya is a city in the state of Karnataka. It is the headquarter of Mandya district and is located from Mysore and from Bangalore. Sugar factories contribute to the major economic output. It is also called Sugar city (which in Kannada means Sakkare nagara) because sugarcane is a major crop. Mandya city has district offices premises. Mandya District is an administrative district of Karnataka, India. The district is bordered on the south by Mysore and Chamarajangar districts, on the west by Hassan District, on the north by Tumkur District and on the east by Ramanagara district. Sathgalli, also known as Sathagalli, is an urban extension of Mysore city in Karnataka province of India. Location Sathgulli is located on the eastern side of Mysore city. Part of the locality lies inside the ring road and is highly commercial and urban in nature. Part of the locality lies outside the ring road and has a residential and rural layout. Bus terminal Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has built a modern and sprawling bus station in Sathgulli for future use. Kaveri
The Kaveri (also known as Cauvery, the anglicized name) is one of the major Indian rivers flowing through the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
