Mahad Abdalle Awad
Mahad Abdalle Awad (, ) is a Somali politician. He is the second deputy speaker of the Federal Parliament of Somalia. Career On 20 August 2012, Awad was among the legislators nominated to the newly established Federal Parliament of Somalia. On 29 August 2012, he was appointed second deputy speaker of the Federal Parliament opposite First Deputy Speaker Jaylaani Nur Ikar. They are serving under Speaker Mohamed Osman Jawari. Garowe bilateral agreement In October 2014, the prime minister, Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, led a federal government delegation to the autonomous Puntland region in northeastern Somalia. The delegates included the second speaker of the Federal Parliament, Awad, and the minister of education, Ahmed Mohamed Gurase. Abdihakim Abdullahi Haji Omar
Abdihakim Abdullahi Haji Omar (; , ) Abdihakin Amey, is a former Vice President of Puntland from 8 January 2014 to 8 January 2019 and was replaced by Ahmed Elmi Osman. Personal life He was the first vice-president of Puntland from the Ararsame clan, specifically from the Reer Hagar sub lineage of the Farah Garad branch of the Dhulbahante clan. His grandfather Omar Camey was assassinated in 1943 in Burao alongside two other Ararsame men, Ahmed Cige and Haybe Kaar by Habar Yunis clan militants. Omar Camey was the chief Caaqil, i.e. ''caaqil guud'' of the Ararsame at the time in the colonial era. Mudug
Mudug () is an administrative region ('' gobol'') in north-central Somalia. The population of Mudug is 131,455 as of 2005. Overview Physiographically, Mudug is bordered to the west by Ethiopia, to the north and south by the Somali regions of Nugal and Galguduud respectively, and to the east by the Indian Ocean. The provincial capital is Galkayo. Galguduud
Galguduud (, , or ''Ghelgudud'') is an administrative region ('' gobol'') of Galmudug state in central Somalia. Its administrative capital is Dusmareb. The largest town in the region is El Buur, which lies at the centre of the region. Galguduud is bordered by Ethiopia, the Somali regions of Mudug; Hiran, Middle Shebelle (Shabeellaha Dhexe), and the Indian Ocean. Duale Adan Mohamed (, ) is a Somali politician. He served as the Minister of Culture and Higher Education of Somalia under Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed. Duale Adan Mohamed succeeded Maryam Qaasim when her post as Minister for Human Development and Public Services ended on 17 January 2014. The Ministry was split to allow the creation of 6 cabinet positions one of which was the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education. The other 5 cabinet positions are Ministry of Health, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Women and Human Rights, Ministry of Education.
