Maguy Maccario Doyle is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Principality of Monaco to the United States and Canada, as of 2013 and 2014 respectively, and Monaco's Permanent Observer to the Organization of American States. Maccario Doyle was appointed Ambassador of Monaco to the United States by Prince Albert II of Monaco on November 12, 2013, and presented her credentials to President Barack Obama on December 3 that same year. In December 2014, she presented her credentials to Canada's Governor General, H.E. David Johnston, assuming the positions both as Ambassador of Monaco to Canada, and as the Permanent Observer of Monaco to the OAS. David Lloyd Johnston (born June 28, 1941) is a Canadian academic, author, and statesman who served from 2010 to 2017 as Governor General of Canada, the 28th since Canadian Confederation.
