Magomed Gadzhiyev
Magomed Tazhudinovich Gadzhiyev (russian: Магомед Тажудинович Гаджиев; born 7 April 1965) is a Russian political and public figure. He served as a deputy of the State Duma for its 4th State Duma, 4th, 5th State Duma, 5th, 6th State Duma, 6th and 7th State Duma, 7th convocations. He is a member of the United Russia political party, and served as a member of the Duma's Committee on Development of Civil Society, Public and Religious Organizations. He is a Major General of the Federal Taxation Service. Biography Gadzhiyev was born on 7 April 1965 in Makhachkala, then in the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, in the Soviet Union. In 1996 Gadzhiyev graduated from the Institute of Management and Business in Makhachkala and then in 1998 completed a degree at the Faculty of Law of the Dagestan State University. State Duma
The State Duma (russian: Госуда́рственная ду́ма, r=Gosudárstvennaja dúma), commonly abbreviated in Russian as Gosduma ( rus, Госду́ма), is the lower house of the Federal Assembly of Russia, while the upper house is the Federation Council. The Duma headquarters are located in central Moscow, a few steps from Manege Square. Its members are referred to as deputies. The State Duma replaced the Supreme Soviet as a result of the new constitution introduced by Boris Yeltsin in the aftermath of the Russian constitutional crisis of 1993, and approved in a nationwide referendum. In the 2007 and 2011 Russian legislative elections a full party-list proportional representation with 7% electoral threshold system was used, but this was subsequently repealed. The Yarovaya law (in Russian: Закон Яровой, transliteration: ''Zakon Jarovoy''), also Yarovaya package/bag, is a set of two Russian federal bills, 374-FZ and 375-FZ, passed in 2016. The bills amend previous counter-terrorism laws and separate laws which regulate additional counter-terror and public safety measures.
