Magnus Skavhaug Nergaard
Magnus Skavhaug Nergaard (born 20 November 1989 in Tranby, Norway) is a Norwegians, Norwegian Jazz musician (double bass, upright bass & bass guitar), known from bands like Monkey Plot, Mummu, Ronja and Ich Bin N!ntendo. Career Nergaard is a graduate of the Department of improvisation and jazz at Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo (2013). His musical genres span over musical landscapes from improvised music, to rock and noise, often influenced by different kinds of world folk-music, and always trying out new approaches to create exciting new combinations. Nergaard collaborated on the album release ''Ich Bin N!ntendo & Mats Gustafsson'' (2012) including Joakim Heibø Johansen (drums) and Christian Skår Winther (guitar), featuring Mats Gustafsson, Mats Olof Gustafsson (baritone saxophone). Tranby
Tranby is a village in Lier, Norway, Lier municipality in Buskerud, Norway. The village consists mainly of three residential areas located in a semi-circle around a small forest area. Tranby is a part of a greater urban area which also encompasses the village of Hennummarka. The urban area is named Tranby and has a population of 5,322. Tranby Church (''Tranby kirke'') dates from 1855. It was designed by architects Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and Wilhelm von Hanno. The edifice is constructed of stone and has 360 seats. Jan Martin Gismervik (born 1988 in Avaldsnes, Karmøy, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (drums), known from bands like Monkey Plot, Torg, Oker, O, PGA. Career Gismervik was raised in Avaldsnes, where he played in local groups. He is educated from the Improvised Music and Jazz Department at the Norwegian Academy of Music with a Bachelor Performance Degree, and in 2014 awarded "Young Jazz Musician of The Year" at Molde International Jazz Festival together with Monkey Plot. He cooperated within the duo "PGA" on the debut album ''Corrections'' (2012). On ''Corrections'' the "PGA" duo is assisted by Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø (trombone) and Torstein Lavik Larsen (trumpet) on two tracs.
