Magdalena Fernández
Magdalena Fernández (born 1964) is a Venezuelan installation and media artist known for her work with light, sound, and abstractions of nature. Her work has been exhibited internationally at the Venice Biennale, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Fernández was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1964. She lives and works in Caracas. In 1982 she studied Graphic Arts at the Boston University. Between 1983 and 1984 she attended the Andrés Bello Catholic University, UCAB, where she studied education, physical and mathematical mention. In 1985 she joined the Neumann Institute of Caracas, where she graduated as a graphic designer in 1989. Andrés Bello Catholic University also known in Spanish as Universidad Católica Andrés Bello is a private university in Venezuela. One of the largest universities in Venezuela, UCAB has campuses in several cities, such as Caracas (where the main campus is located), Los Teques, Guayana, and Coro. Inscape (visual Art)
Inscape, in visual art, is a term especially associated with certain works of Chilean artist Roberto Matta, but it is also used in other senses within the visual arts. Though the term ''inscape'' has been applied to stylistically diverse artworks, it usually conveys some notion of representing the artist's psyche as a kind of interior landscape. The word ''inscape'' can therefore be read as a kind of portmanteau, combining ''interior'' (or ''inward'') with ''landscape''. Angiolo Giuseppe Fronzoni (1923–2002), more commonly known as AG Fronzoni, was an Italian graphic designer, publisher, industrial designer, architect, and educator. Career In 1945, AG Fronzoni opened his own studio in Brescia, Italy that specialized in publishing, graphic design, architecture, exhibition design and industrial design. He edited architectural magazines including '' Punta'' and '' Casabella''. In 1956, Fronzoni founded a second studio in Milan. In 1963 he designed the minimalist, Quadra Lamp and a sleek briefcase in collaboration with Italian luxury brand Valextra. From 1965 to 1967 Fronzoni was the designer for the architectural magazine ''Casabella''.
