Magda El-Sabahi
Magda el-Sabbahi, commonly known as Magda,( arz, ماجده; 6 May 1931 – 16 January 2020) was an Egyptians, Egyptian film Actor, actress notable for her roles from 1949 to 1994. Life and career Afaf Ali Kamel Sabbahi was born on 6 May 1931 in Tanta, Gharbia Governorate. She was one of the greatest stars of Egyptian cinema, taking the lead role in sixty films. For her film career she took the stage name of Magda. In 1956, Magda founded her own film production company. In 1958, she played the lead role in the film by Youssef Chahine, ''Jamila al Jaza'iriya'' (Jamila, the Algerian) opposite Salah Zulfikar and Ahmed Mazhar, the film was based on the story of Djamila Bouhired. In 1963, she married the General Intelligence Service (Egypt), Egyptian intelligence officer and actor, Ihab Nafe, with whom she had her only daughter, Ghada, in 1965. Tanta
Tanta ( ar, طنطا ' , ) is a city in Egypt with the country's fifth largest populated area and 658,798 inhabitants as of 2018. Djamila Bouhired ( ar, جميلة بوحيرد, born c. 1935) is an Algerian militant. Bouhired is a nationalist who opposed the French colonial rule of Algeria. She was raised in a middle-class family by a Tunisian mother and an Algerian father, having attended a French school in Algeria. She would go on in her youth to join the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN) while a student activist. There she worked as a liaison officer and personal assistant of FLN commander Yacef Saadi in Algiers. Biography Djamila Bouherid was born in a middle-class family in colonial Algeria. The film is the second film of the same name (a remake of the 1939 film of the same name) based on the story of Layla and Majnun. Fathi Ghanem (Arabic: فتحي غانم) (2 March 1924 – 24 February 1999) was an Egyptian writer. Ghanem was born in Cairo to a working-class family. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Fuad I University, in 1944, then worked as a reporter for ', a newspaper published by the foundation of the same name.
