Magaluf
Magaluf (, , ) is a town on the western coast of the island of Majorca. Known as a major tourist destination and holiday resort town, Magaluf is in the municipality of Calvià, which is likewise a popular package tour destination. Resort Magaluf is part of the municipality of Calvià and is located within a group of towns which includes Palma Nova and Torrenova. The resort caters to young (mainly British) adults and couples as well as families, with peak season during July and August. During the winter season (November through March), the population of Magaluf consists primarily of local residents, with most resort and package-based hotels closing their doors. Magaluf Beach
Magaluf Beach (, ; ) is the name of the beach in the tourist resort of Magaluf. Holiday accommodation, nightclubs and other services aimed at mass tourism make up the urban landscape of the beach. It also receives a massive influx of local swimmers. Magaluf beach is one kilometer long and is made of fine white sand. Originally, the beach landscape was an unattractive looking marshland, its current state is the product of artificial regeneration. A half mile from the coast of Magalluf beach is Porrassa Islet, which served as a refuge for the fleet of James I of Aragon, King James I before he landed in Santa Ponsa in 1229. The area north of the bay is open to winds from the east-southeast to the anchoring of boats on sandy and algae to a depth ranging between two and five meters. Calvià () is a municipality on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is located in the southwestern part of the island of Majorca, between the Serra de Tramuntana and the Serra de Na Burguesa. The municipal seat is the town of Calvià Vila. Calvià has an approximate area of . Patrick Sharpin known professionally as Pat Sharp, is an English radio presenter, television presenter and DJ. He worked on the children's ITV programme '' Fun House'', was one of the Sky Channel's VJs and presented the Coca-Cola Eurochart Top 50 and Nescafé UK Top 50. Freemasons are an English house music duo from Brighton, East Sussex. The act consists of the producers Russell Small (who is also one half of the house production duo Phats & Small) and James Wiltshire (who also works with Phats & Small under the alias 'Jimmy Gomez'). Biography 2005–2007: Early career Their name is taken from the Brighton pub, Freemasons Tavern, which they frequently visit. Samuel Bouriah (born 19 October 1969), better known by his stage name DJ Sammy, is a Spanish DJ and record producer. He has released five albums and has had five top-10 hits, including a cover of Bryan Adams' "Heaven", which reached number one in the UK in 2002. His career started with ex-wife Marie-José van der Kolk in the making of his first singles, under the stage name of DJ Sammy featuring Carisma.
