Hariharan (director)
Hariharan is an Indian film director who has directed over 50 Malayalam films. His movies mainly revolve around the cultural and relational aspects of a typical Keralite society. His most notable works include '' Sharapancharam'' (1979), '' Panchagni'' (1986), '' Idavazhiyile Poocha Mindappoocha'' (1979), '' Amrutham Gamaya'' (1987), '' Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha'' (1989), '' Sargam'' (1992), '' Parinayam'' (1994) and '' Pazhassi Raja'' (2009) which has won him wide critical acclaim. Sankaradi
Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles. Early life Sankaradi passed intermediate from Maharajas College, Ernakulam. Before entering films, Sankaradi briefly dabbled in politics, journalism and theatre. Sreekumaran Thampi (born 16 March 1940) is an Indian lyricist, music director, director, producer, and screenwriter in Malayalam cinema. He also writes poetry and is a recipient of the Vallathol Award. In 2017, he was awarded the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema. Film career Thampi was introduced to the Malayalam film industry in 1966 by P. Subramaniam as a lyricist in the film ''Kaattumallika''. He has produced 25 films, directed 29, and written scripts for 85 films in Malayalam besides writing thousands of songs. Vadakkekarayil Koran Bharathan (16 January 1929- 19 August 2015), better known as Paravoor Bharatan was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He started his career in movies during the 1950s. Bharathan is known as a versatile actor and has played a variety of roles including negative roles, character roles and comedy roles. Mary Joseph, famously known as Meena (22 April 1941 – 17 September 1997), was an Indian actress. She primarily appeared in Malayalam movies. She died on 17 September 1997 due to a cardiac arrest. Early life Meena (Mary Joseph) was the eighth child in a Marthoma Syrian Christian family from kumarapuram-haripad, in Alappuzha. Background Alummoodan was born to Alummoottil Joseph and Rosamma in Changanacherry. He was married to Rosamma Dominic. They have six children, 2 sons and 4 daughters.
