Madan Mohan
Madanamohana () is an epithet of the Hindu deity Krishna. It translates as, "he whose charm (''mohana'') bewilders even the god of love ('' madana'')". The epithet describes the powerful nature of the attraction for the deity from his devotees, exempified by the legend of the '' rasalila'', where the ''gopi''s (cowherdesses) of the region Vraja abandon all their obligations to answer the call of Krishna. The epithet is also identified with the form of the deity worshipped by Sanatana Goswami of the Gaudiya tradition at Vrindavan. Madan Mohan Kohli (25 June 1924 – 14 July 1975), better known as Madan Mohan, was an Indian music director of the 1950s, 1960s and the 1970s. Lt Gen () Madan Mohan Lakhera, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (born 21 October 1937) is the former Governor of the Indian state of Mizoram. He held that position from July 2006 until September 2011. Madan Mohan Malaviya (25 December 1861 — 12 November 1946; ) was an Indian scholar, educational reformer and activist notable for his role in the Indian independence movement. He was president of the Indian National Congress three times and the founder of Hindu Mahasabha, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. He was addressed as ''Pandit'', a title of respect. Madan Mohan Mishra (; 12 December 1931 – 4 July 2013) was a Nepalese author and humorist known for his epic poetry, satirical writings and children's songs. Madanmohan Tarkalankar (3 January 1817 – 9 March 1858) is one of the Sanskrit scholars of the Indian subcontinent in the nineteenth century who has made a special contribution to the development of written Bengali language. Ananthula Madan Mohan (1931 or 1932 – 2004) was a former politician from undivided Andhra Pradesh who was a four-time Member of Legislative Assembly and three-time Minister in Andhra Pradesh holding various portfolios. He was the Leader of Opposition when N. T. Rama Rao of Telugu Desam Party won a landslide victory in the 1983 Assembly election.
